So, I’m using the desktop version and as you can see, I have a bunch of strategies that are here. Um I even have more on my other computer. Some of these I don’t even use, but I’m going to explain to you why. Um I basically, like most
Of you guys watching this video, I have synced prop firm accounts to NinjaTrader along with my live account. So, I have a lot of accounts and I want to run a lot of different things. So, I run my copy trader, which I use Replicanto, but I have copy trader for gold, minis, gold micros. I have minis on NQ, micros on NQ, and I have an ES Replicanto. On top of that, I run multiple strategies. So, these are strategies that you see
Here, and basically, you know, these are like indicators on TradingView. Um you know, but they obviously use resources. A lot of them, they basically auto trade for you. I don’t use the auto trade function on all the prop firms because they don’t all allow it. So, I’ll use it either on my live account or prop firms that do allow it. Uh if they don’t allow it, I’ll just have it trigger an alert and then you can manually enter and exit to
Make it compliant. Um I also run TradingView scripts that then go from TradingView to NinjaTrader. So, there’s a lot of connections and a lot of things happening which kind of bogs my computer down. And people are like, “Well, how do you go around that?” So, most people don’t realize the NinjaTrader trick is you can put NinjaTrader on a laptop. So, I have NinjaTrader on my laptop next to me which does not run off of this computer. It handles all that, but
I can still trade. So, say I want to copy trade um you know, say I go to Tradeovate, right? So, I’ve go to Tradeovate and I place a trade, it will copy trade even if Replicanto on my copy trader is up on my laptop. So, you don’t need NinjaTrader, copy traders, and everything to be on your main computer. It could be on a laptop and all the copy trading functionality still works on any computer. As long as your laptop is up
Running connected to the internet that’s that has NinjaTrader on it, you can place a trade anywhere on Tradeovate or whatever other programs you use and they will automatically copy trade as long as your computer’s up. So, basically takes the resources off of your main computer. Your your side laptop handles those resources and then it frees up your main computer to do other things. So, I stream so it doesn’t mess up the stream. I have other trading things up as well. Sometimes
NinjaTrader, if you’re running too many things on the same computer, uh the data feed stops all of a sudden, you know, you’ll notice your chart stops. And I notice that if I’m running I don’t know, maybe eight windows of TradingView, some of them have multiple charts up, uh plus NinjaTrader, it’s just too much at once. So, NinjaTrader will all of a sudden the data stops. So, basically by moving that to an external laptop, it frees up the resources, and everything runs
