What’s going on, guys? So, today was a mixed bag of a day. Um, I did great in the morning. I stacked, I don’t know, $400 in five different funded accounts. Uh, my my funded future accounts, all the funded ones are up. They’re all up, I don’t know, between$125 and $400. And then I went to Elite right here. This one account, I just couldn’t get it going today. I actually made a mistake early in the morning. I bought five minis instead of
Five micros and that cost me a little over a,000 bucks. And then um I was right there for a TP to close out the day. It hit my TP, didn’t fill it, then went the other way. And uh it is what it is. But uh you know, then I overlevered um I bought a bunch of minis here and I bought micros also. And I had I was right about the move. I just couldn’t weather the storm because I went in too
Heavy. And it was what it was. But this is what happens when you go in too heavy. When you’re in too heavy, I should have set my stop to be like probably down here or new low a day and I just didn’t have the draw down to weather the storm and I got out and then sure enough we ripped 10 and something points up. I missed the move. It kind of sucks. It’s just it goes to show you that you can’t
Overlever. You can’t go in too heavy. I’d rather let the move make the money for me, not the the massive amount of contracts. And I went bigger contracts instead. And uh it was what it was, you know. Um I don’t want to say it was a mistake because I was right. It was a mistake of buying too many contracts. And that’s kind of what I’m getting at is you don’t need to buy that many contracts. Like I could have bought one
Mini and made uh a,000 bucks on the way. Uh no, I could have made 2,000 bucks on the way up. Instead, I was in two or three minis. I was in freaking 20 micros, you know, and I can’t weather the storm being in that big. So, it happens. Learned my lesson. I still got a couple hundred of draw down. I’m going to try working out of it uh this week and um you know and that’s what it is. I just want
You to show you that you don’t need a lot of contracts. I made the mistake of doing that. Sometimes I do it a lot of the times it works out because I am right a lot of the times. It just so happens uh we were moving around today and I you know the market decided to pull back just a little bit before it really ramped up. And like I show you all the good, I show you the bad, but today was
A good day overall. It was just this account. Um, and I’m just going to turn it around. That’s all I could do, right? I just get back, make quality trades tomorrow, try to turn this around. Um, I should get a couple payouts this week. I’m working towards in my funded futures and some other accounts. So, we’ll see how that goes. Any other questions on this, let me know. But this is a live example on why you should not uh buy too
Many contracts. I just wanted to show you what happens. If it could happen to me, it could definitely happen to you and learn your lesson. All right. And hopefully I see you on the stream or in the Discord.
