What’s going on, guys? So, I’m going to go over how I find some of these trades. This trade nets a 74% win rate, and I’m going to show you how I find these um and everything else. But before I do, I stream live every single day. Be sure to subscribe below. Smash the old like button if you like the video. Um if you want, there’s a link to our free Discord in the description of this video. Also, a link to exclusive
Prop firm discounts as well in the description. Uh, if you got any questions, comment on the video, ask on the live stream, or ask in the Discord. All right, so let’s just jump right into it. A lot of people asked about back testing this week. And there’s two different ways that I back test. One, I can back test manually with an Excel sheet out and I will just come up with an idea. So, you know, your idea could be anything. Just
For argument sake, I’m going to show you what one idea could look like. And then you can manually back test it right here. So, one one quick back one quick thing to say, hey, as soon as we have the 15-minute orb set, when we get above it, the first candle closed below, you basically stop out at the top of that candle and you go for 15 points or whatever it is. And then you just manually back test. Okay, it happened right
Here. I would have got in here. 15 points. I would have gotten it. Okay, good. and then I type it in on my Excel sheet. Or I you can go in and use FX Replay. It’s kind of the same thing except you could put the buys and sells and then it tracks the thing FX Replay does. Now, I’m not saying you need to get this because I’ve done my back testing both ways, but this kind of gives you a graph, you
Know, your P&Ls, your win rates. Um, and look, this is how I found this 74% winner. basically um overall to the upside and downside it is a 59% winner the uh RTOR is uh 1.3 and it wins 74% of the time right pretty good right how I find this I come up with an idea in the market just like this well what happens if this happens what happens you know if you go 50 points above the orb, come back and retest.
What happens? There’s different things within the market that happens. You test these and you come up with winners. This is one of the ones that I came up with. If you want to see this trade taken, got to be on the stream. Uh this is, as you can see, it’s my drift play towards uh you know, my drift play that happens. I do this live every single day. I’m not going to get into it, but you come up with an idea,
You back test it, then you know the numbers, and then you forward test it, right? Once you forward, you know, once you back test it and the data shows good, then you go in the live market, test it that way, make sure everything still works. And that’s how you can come up with winners. Um, and this is great because it shows max uh consecutive winners, max consecutive losers, um, R to R, and then you can say, hey, the buy side or
The sell side. So, I know that the buy side only wins 35% of the time. So, I take that completely out. I only play to the downside. And what’s good is the downside happens 64% of the days. Works out pretty well, right? So, that’s how I come up with this stuff. Um, you know, this is one trade a day and that’s how it works out. So, if you have any questions, there was just a lot of questions about back testing on
The stream this week. Um, I keep saying you should know your numbers, you should know your strategy. Well, this is what I use to do it. Um, and like I said, you could do it manually because I’ve done it manually plenty of times, just an Excel spreadsheet. And I just keep going back. I just go, okay, it, you know, we sweep below here, come back through. Okay, cool. And I just work work it like that. And I just do all right,
You know, here it is. We sweep. Not a close. Close. All right. We would have stopped out. And I just kind of do things like that. Or I can do it on here now and that way. If you have any questions about this, let me know and I’ll get right back to
