As well. Um that’s pretty much it. So let’s just jump into it. So this is probably the number one reason um I’m going to show you my account and so here’s an account that I’ve had since July 21st. I still trade it today. I’ve taken multiple payouts out of it. But what you notice for the majority of it, right, the majority of this is make 500, 300, 600, lose 600, lose 300, 600, down 300, and then all of a sudden you

Have boom, solid day, right? Then back, lose 600, make 700, 800, right? It’s all about the same, right? And then all of a sudden it creeps up on you and you get this day minus 2700, right? I have another one minus 25500. So it’s the big blowup days that get you. It’s not the every single day, oh I lo, you know, I made 300, I lost 300. Losing 300 a day is not what normally causes your account to blow up. Very

Rarely do I speak to traders and they’re like, “Oh, I lost $200, I don’t know, 12 straight days in a row and that’s why I blew my account.” No, it’s, you know, I ended up losing it all in one day or, yeah, I lost half my account in one day. You know, that’s what it is. It’s not It’s never I lost the same amount of money that I make. Um, so one of the things that I say is you should definitely

Set a stop-loss for the majority of the time when I trade accounts, um, especially the accounts that are going good. Like obviously this is a great account. Um, I’m I’m ready for another payout. I’m over the buffer. I’m going to add a little bit more, but you know, I set my stop, you know, typically to be somewhere around on what my average in the account that I make. So basically, say I’m making, I don’t know, $5 to $700 a day. My

Stop in this account should be $500 to $700 a day, which means that the market has to beat me so many days. So the market in this account would have to beat me, I don’t know, eight straight days or eight or nine more days than I uh than I win in order for me to to lose and and blow the account. And the odds are that’s probably not going to happen. Um, you know, it’s when you take massive losses is what

Happens. So, what you got to find how much you gain in a day average and that’s where your stop loss needs to be for the day. uh you know, if you make a $100 a day in your account, well, then you should probably stop at 100, which means the market has to you have to lose, depending on what type of account you have, you know, at least 20 days more than you won, which means you’re probably going to keep your account

Close to a month or longer than a month. So, you’re not constantly buying accounts also, which is giving you more time in the seat uh for you to learn and things like that. you’re going to be gaining knowledge as well as, you know, learning to manage this massive draw down days. Now, I did let some of these days slip away. Um, you know, this wasn’t one trade. I know exactly what happened. Uh, I don’t even have to, you know, I get

Sometimes the same thing that you guys get. You know, I’m like, hey, you know, this was a good setup and, um, it just didn’t work out. And then I find something else that’s not that great. and and I get in that and then I eventually just shut the account down is what I did. Um I basically just turned the account off and then I got back to uh my winning ways and that’s it. Uh but yeah, limiting your losses is how

I have grown these accounts. Um limiting to about what I lose in a day, what I make in a day. So all it does is kind of take like this. it kind of just loses what I made the day before and then I just get back to winning. That’s all. And that’s how you need to do it. Whatever you normally make in the account, you set as the stop loss. And that’s the best way to go about it. Um, and you’ll

Keep your accounts longer and more time in the seat, like I said, and you’ll just get better at trading. The more you trade, the better you’re going to get at trading.
