Install (2 minutes)

⚠️ Do NOT use Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On — copy the files in instead.

  1. Unzip and copy all 10 files from the AddOns folder into Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\AddOns\
  2. Open New → NinjaScript Editor and press F5 to compile.
  3. Open Control Center → New → Cove Vest Copier and click VEST LOGIN — sign in to Vest with email (wallet extensions like MetaMask don’t exist inside NinjaTrader).
  4. Pick a LEADER ACCOUNT (a Vest account, or your prop firm account in NinjaTrader), ADD FOLLOWER Vest accounts, keep DRY RUN on and press START COPYING. Go live once the log looks right.

Never press F5 while copying — recompiling stops the copier (on purpose, so two copiers can never trade at once). Full notes are in INSTALL.txt inside the zip.

What it does

  • Vest → Vest: one leader, many followers, 1:1 copies on Vest Markets perps (stocks, indexes, crypto, FX).
  • Prop firm → Vest: lead from any NinjaTrader account (Lucid, Apex, Tradeify…). NQ/MNQ trades copy to Vest NDX-USD-PERP, ES/MES to SPX-USD-PERP. You set the Vest size per contract and the Vest leverage. Your NinjaTrader account is only read — the copier never places NinjaTrader orders.
  • Fills only, market orders — when the leader buys, followers buy; when it sells or exits (by hand, TP or SL), followers sell.
  • Sign in to Vest inside NinjaTrader once — no browser tab to keep open, the login renews itself.
  • Dry run mode shows what every follower would do before you go live.
  • Never double-fires — waits for Vest to confirm each order before acting again; a follower that keeps getting rejected is parked in ALARM.
